about

This album was composed during the pandemic between 2020-2022. But some of the songs have a long history (Police State was composed in 1991). It represents the last year Lana and Chris performed together regularly to escape the sheer tedium of isolation and keep Lana going and developing her music.

We finally got round to finishing it in 2023, and it includes some really personal songs that were a response to some heavy life moments during 2020 - 2023. The singles July and May (released in 2021) have been remastered for the album.

We dedicate this album to Melissa Bruhn, Kara Sharkey, Geoff Bydder, Cecilia Arrow and Joey Bydder.
